🍽️ Restaurant Run of the Week: Brown's Diner

A Nashville staple..

🤠 Howdy -

For our third edition of Restaurant Run of the Week, we went with a Nashville staple. Brown’s Diner is a go-to of ours weekly. We switch it up between breakfast and dinner but it hits the spot every time.

Brown’s has been around since 1927 and holds Nashville’s oldest beer license. This is refreshing considering how often this town changes and restaurants come and go. It has changed owners 3 times, starting in an old trolly car which is still housed outside. The newest addition is a covered patio with TVs but the charm of the inside remains.

They are known for their burgers but in my opinion, the breakfast is hard to turn down. Stop by on weekday nights for live music or Sunday morning after church with the family!

  • 📍Location: 2101 Blair Blvd (Hillsboro Village)

  • 🍴Recommendation: You really can’t go wrong with anything here but I would recommend the Chicken Biscuit with gravy, and a banana chocolate chip pancake on the side

  • ⭐️ Highlight: Old Nashville feel

🔎 Last Eaten Review: Chicken Biscuit with Gravy

This biscuit was massive with two large chicken strips on it. The gravy is a must on the side and tastes like some good ole country cooking. It may be hard to eat because of the size but it’s worth the fight. I will definitely be trying again, or at least getting gravy with anything else I try.
